Ed Wildermuth, CFP®, ChFC®, CPA*
Founder / Financial Advisor
Ed has over 17 years of experience in the insurance and financial world. From the start, Ed’s philosophy has been focused on education and helping his clients secure their financial futures. His business practice and methods are driven by the desire to provide all clients with the education and guidance necessary to make informed decisions, to help them realize all their financial and personal goals.
Ed is a native of the Chicago suburbs. He attended Monmouth College (IL), graduating Cum Laude with BA’s in Accounting and Business Administration. He is a proud member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, and served as the chapter Vice President of Finance. While working his way through college, he was also a member of the men’s golf team, and served as the co-captain his senior year. After college, he continued his education by earning the Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
In 2019, Ed earned both the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation in order to continue his education and commitment to his clients.
As a good habit he picked up from his dad, Ed regularly donates blood with the Red Cross. He's up to a 5 gallon donor. He's recently taken that a step further to volunteer as a blood drive coordinator, partnering with a local brewery to host local blood drives. To date, those drives have collected over 100 units!
Ed currently resides with his wife and two daughters in Westfield, IN. His loyalty still lies with the Cubs, Bears, and Bulls. He enjoys golfing, traveling, and has been an active member of his local homebrew association, Music City Brewers, for over 8 years. And it you ask nicely, he might share a homebrew with you too!
